Zine Workshop

Ever wanted to make your own magazine? Zines are self-published magazines with a history of rebellion, resistance, and self-expression. Join us for an evening of creativity, collaboration, and experimentation with DIY methods. We’ll learn about the powerful history of zine-making, and use a mix of drawing, writing, and collage to create your own self-published art to share with the world. All materials are provided. For creatives of all skill levels.

Valentine’s Lino-cut Printmaking Workshop

Spread the love with your own handmade Valentine prints! In this hands-on linocut workshop, you’ll bring your design ideas to life—learn how to transfer, carve, and print your artwork using traditional linocut techniques. Experiment with various fine art papers to create unique cards, prints, or small editions. You’ll leave with a collection of one-of-a-kind Valentine artworks ready to gift or keep! *All materials will be provided, participants should bring a 5’’x7’’ printed or drawn design on paper as a reference for the workshop.

Kids Workshops

Beginners Guide to Digital Illustration (Ages 10 to 15)  

Sunday, January 18, 2026 | 11:00am to 1:00pm 

$20 per person

Walk through the basics of digital illustration and learn about the illustration program Procreate. Learn about the most useful tools, selection tool options, layers, text editing, colour adjustments, and visual effects you can add. After working on a tutorial as a group, students will have the opportunity to create an illustration with guidance from our instructor using the new information they've picked up. Students should bring in their own stylus and touch-screen tablet with Procreate downloaded and paid for. More information can be found here about Procreate.
