Summer Camp
Our Summer Camps provide kids and parents with a fun, worry-free option to stay creative all summer! Summer Camps run for 9 weeks (July 2 - August 30), Monday to Friday 9 AM to 4 PM, with the exception of Session #1 (Mermaid Camp: July 2 to July 5) and Session #6 (Wild West Camp: August 6 to August 9) which are 4-day weeks.
Camper sign-in is strictly from 8:45 - 9 AM and sign-out from 4 - 4:15 PM.
Each Session’s programming is inspired by that week’s theme, ensuring that campers who sign up for multiple weeks won’t be repeating art projects. All art materials are included in the camp fee.
Our team of amazing instructors are experienced, professional art practitioners with specialties in various backgrounds.

Session Dates and Themes:
Session #1 - Mermaid Camp
(July 2 to July 5, no camp Monday July 1 due to Canada Day)
We welcome all our campers under the sea this week to dive into an underwater world of fun! Discover all the inspiration the oceans have to offer you and your mer-friends.
Session #2 - Garden Camp
(July 8 to July 12)
Come gather with us in the garden as we meet all of our bug buddies, mushroom folks, and frog friends. Plant seeds of creativity and watch your ideas bloom throughout the week!
Session #3 - Prehistoric Camp
(July 15 to July 19)
ROOOAAARRRRRR is how you say hello to a dinosaur. Meet some fossilized friends this week as we create, paint, and excavate our way to some Jurassic adventures!
Session #4 - Circus Camp
(July 22 to July 26)
*Clown honk* Welcome to the circus crew! Jump into the ring to sculpt with the acrobats, paint with the ringmaster, and collage with the clowns. Learn all the tricks of the art making trade to be part of the VAC camp circus!
Session #5 - Medieval Camp
(July 29 to August 2)
Dear knights, princesses, and fire breathing dragons. This is your formal invitation from the king of the VAC to our week of good company, adventures, and art creation! Enchant the kingdom with your medieval masterpieces while creating creative connections among the royal court.
Session #6 - Wild West Camp
(August 6 to August 9, no camp Monday August 5 due to civic holiday)
Giddiup into this week of rootin tootin art creating! Become the fastest paint-slinger in the wild West, ride into the sunset with your new VAC cowboy crew, and spread your artistry and friendship across the desert!
Session #7 - Camp of Olympus
(August 12 to August 16)
Demigods of camp VAC, we call upon you for a quest of a lifetime! Jump into the action this week with a series of artistic feats to prove yourself as a hero of Mount Olympus!
Summer Camp at the VAC (Ages 6-12)
Session #8 - Cooking camp
(August 19 to August 23)
YES CHEF!! Jump into the kitchen to create some food art with the rest of the VAC cooks. Mix up that paint and glue on the final touches before your masterpiece goes to its table!
Session #9 - Camp camp
(August 26 to August 30)
Welcome to camp! Come gather around the fire pit as we get to know all our camp friends. Share stories under the stars we’ll paint and create some eco art as we explore the world around us.
