VAC Studio Code of conduct - For Students

Welcome to the VAC studio! To keep our space safe, creative, and fun for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

1. Be Respectful

○ Treat everyone with kindness. No name-calling, hate speech, or bullying.

○ Give feedback in a positive, supportive way.

2. Work Safely

○ Follow all instructions from instructors and staff.

○ Handle tools and materials carefully to avoid accidents.

3. Respect the Space and Others

○ Be mindful of others’ personal space and creative process.

○ Clean up after yourself and leave shared spaces ready for the next person.

○ Independent studio time is a privilege — you must show you can work safely and respectfully.

4. Follow Staff Directions

○ Staff can ask anyone to leave if their behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.

○ Repeated or serious issues may result in suspension from studio sessions.

5. Ask for Support if Needed

○ If you need accommodations to participate safely, let staff know.
