VAC Education Programs
Grades KG to 12
The Visual Art Centre of Clarington (VAC) offers education programs
that help students expand their creativity, develop their visual literacy and sharpen their communication skills. The Centre occupies a four story 1905 Mill, and has a 42-year history of connecting people of all ages and backgrounds in a safe and creative learning space, which includes exhibition and studio spaces such as a pottery studio equipped with a kiln, and a painting and drawing studio. Educational programs include interactive gallery tours and outreach programs that engage students in critical thinking and prompt them to analyze various works of art.
